TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Some scary good times took place in the 12 points area of Terre Haute Thursday night for Halloween.
Businesses in the area were passing our candy to kids most of the night.
The big event took place at Foursquare Church.
For the 36th straight year, the church held their Harvest Party.
Hundreds of people gathered in the parking lot and on the street to play games, enjoy food, and of course, show off their costumes.
The Church Pastor, Thomas Smith, says this event is all about giving kids a safe Halloween.
“I know some people are a little afraid to go door to door, trick or treating. They come here; it doesn’t cost anything. Free hot dogs, free chili. We have a cake walk and a bunch of games. Just have fun for our community.”
