CLARK COUNTY, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) — Clark County 911 and the Clark County Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday that their phone lines are down.
According to a social media post by Clark County IL E-911 non-emergency and 911 lines are down due to vandalism to a Frontier fiber line.
According to officials in Clark County, Frontier does not have an estimated time that the line will be restored.
Emergency calls are being rerouted to Crawford County, IL. Crawford County can reach dispatch which will allow emergency services to continue as normal.
Officials state that non-emergency calls should be directed to the local police department.
