TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Tickets are on sale for Maple Avenue United Methodist Church annual mystery dinner theater.
This year, they will be presenting a fast-paced comedy “Down in Front”. It is set in a hotel lobby where a murder took place. The audience will get to interact with the play by voting on who they think committed the crime and the motive.
The event will take place February 7 and 8 at 6:30 p.m.
“Working really hard about four days a week. And we’re just trying to put on a great show and they are so ready to do this. They’ve been working very hard so we’re really excited,” Music and Program Director Dan Rodriguez said.
Tickets are $35 each, which includes a roast pork dinner. To purchase tickets you can visit their website. They will also be raising funds for Happy Tails Animal Rescue.
Maple Avenue United Methodist Church also wants to welcome everyone to audition for their upcoming play “Godspell”. This play is about the formation of a community that carries on Jesus’ teachings after he has gone.
Auditions will be held at the church on February 24 and 25 at 6:30 p.m. They ask that you dress comfortably, as there will be a dance portion, and have a music piece prepared.
