TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Tax season is officially upon us. WTWO got the chance to talk with Lori Carpenter from Stadler and Company about how to prepare.
Carpenter said there are not any major changes that people should be aware of this year. However, she said that it’s always important to have all of your W2s, especially if you are employed at more than one place. Carpenter said that being organized can go a long way when doing your taxes
“The biggest thing you want to remember right now is to make sure that you have everything,” said Lori Carpenter, Regional Manager for Stadler and Company. “I like to make a list to keep it all together so that when you get ready to do your taxes, it is all together and you are organized about doing it.”
The last day to file your taxes is April 15th.
