TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Friday evening, Terre Haute South hosted its annual dance marathon.
This initiative is a year-long fundraising effort to support Riley Children’s Hospital. The event took place in the school’s main gym, and included fun activities and games. Last year, students raised over $17,000, and this year they hope to match that goal.
“When you look at the numbers and you start talking to students in a building, almost every one of them has some family or friend who have attended Riley at some point in their life,” said Faculty adviser Gregg Dillion. “So, anything that we can do to give back to Riley.”
