CAYUGA, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) — A storm moving east across the Wabash Valley has already caused storm damage in parts of Eastern Illinois. A radar-confirmed tornado has also been observed in Matton, Illinois.
The WTWO/WAWV weather team has received reports of damage in parts of Cayuga and Coles County, Illinois.
Chief Meterologist Jesse Walker said the storm is now moving to towards Edgar and Vermillion County, Illinois, before crossing the state line. Vigo County and other parts of the Wabash Valley are currently under a severe weather warning until 2:15 a.m.
