TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Indiana State University will be holding an event in May as a ‘rite of passage’ to honor art students before they move on to their chosen career path.
The event is known as the BFA/BA Senior Exhibition, and it will showcase work from all of the BFA and BA students who will be completing their program in the Department of Art and Design. This exhibit will be an encapsulation of what they’ve learned in their time at the university, and is treated as a ‘rite of passage’ to celebrate how far the students have come before completing their degree.
The exhibition will be available for viewing from April 28 to May 10 at The Yang Family University Art Gallery in the Landini Center for Fine and Performing Arts. The exhibition will be open for viewing from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, except on Thursday when it closes at 6 p.m. A ceremony for the students will occur at 4:30 p.m. on May 1 with a reception lasting until 6 p.m. For more information on the event, you can visit this link.
