LINTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Greene County General Hospital has now partnered with AblePay, a health care consumer program that gives new payment options to patients.
AblePay reimburses providers within two weeks at an agreed-upon discounted rate for all out-of-pocket expenses for patients who are enrolled in the program. The company then gives patients a range of options to pay off their balances. Patients can also get up to 13% for on-time payments and terms out to two years. AblePay is available for free for patients to use.
You can enroll online; when you do, you’ll receive an AblePay ID card. Then all you need to do to use the service is present the ID card with your insurance card at a GCGH provider. The charge will be processed by health insurance first, then you’ll receive an explanation of benefits, and the portion you pay will be sent to AblePay, who will notify you of your new claim. After that, you can choose your payment plan to pay to the service. To enroll and for more information on the service, you can visit the link.
