TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO-WAWV) — With the beautiful weather, a local winery also celebrated Mother’s Day in a unique way on Sunday afternoon.
WaterTower Winery hosted a Mother’s Day Farmers Market. Those who attended got the opportunity to shop at vendors, enjoy food, listen to live music, and of course drink wine. This event is not only for Mother’s Day, WaterTower plans to host the farmer’s market every Sunday this coming summer.
Watertower Winery Manager Tiffany Woodward says this event is to make the moms feel special on their special day.
“I just want them to feel special. Feel like they mean more than just being a mom. Nobody just has to like sit at home and do the breakfast in bed thing like let’s do it modern day style. Come out here and hang out with us,” Woodward said.
