TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Greg Gibson isn’t the only member of the Terre Haute community to make Indiana Business Journal’s Indiana 250, the list of the most influential leaders in the state.
James Bopp Jr. of The Bopp Law Firm and Rachel Leslie with RJL Solutions were named as members of the Indiana 250, and both are known right here in Terre Haute.
The 4th annual Indiana 250 is described as “a list of the state’s most influential and impactful leaders across business, philanthropy, the arts, government, and ‘not-for-profits’ from across Indiana.
In announcing the list, IBJ Media CEO Nate Feldman said “The Indiana 250 is a snapshot of those bold thinkers and doers who are shaping the future of our state — from innovative entrepreneurs to dedicated community advocates. It’s truly inspiring to witness the depth of talent and passion making Indiana a great place to live and work.”
James Bopp Jr. is known for founding The Bopp Law Firm, which provides legal assistance to individuals, advocacy groups, candidates, and Political Action Committees in subjects such as not-for-profit tax law, Campaign Finance, Election Law, First Amendment and Constitutional Law, Strategic Planning, Supreme Court Practice.
Bopp Jr. was recently made a trustee at Indiana University by Governor Mike Braun and was recognized by The Indiana Lawyer as a Distinguished Barrister, Leadership in Law in 2025, and by the National Law Journal as one of the Midwest’s Top Rated Lawyers in 2023.
Rachel Leslie is known as the founder and CEO of the consulting firm RJL Solutions with three locations in the state. The company focuses on government relations, marketing and communications, community and economic development, and association management.

Leslie has also been recognized by the Indiana Business Journal by being placed #11 on their Fast 25 list, spotlighting RJL Solutions as one of the state’s fastest-growing companies. Leslie was also honored by our parent company, Nexstar, this year as our Remarkable Women Award recipient.
Leslie also serves on several statewide boards, including the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and the Governor’s Defense Taskforce.
