FARMERSBURG, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A 44-year-old Farmersburg man has been arrested for possessing child pornography after an investigation by the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.
According to the Terre Haute Police Department, detectives from the department’s Juvenile Division and members of the ICAC executed a search warrant and arrested 44-year-old Brandon Shockley on August 19.
Shockley has been charged with possession of child pornography and child exploitation (dissemination), both are level 4 felonies.
“The internet and social media have made our world smaller. Offenders from across Indiana and even the world can make attempts to offend against our children. Partnerships with other local agencies along with other Indiana ICAC Task Force members are crucial in the fight to protect our children,” said THPD.
