CORY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— It’s that time of year again for the annual Cory Apple Festival. The festival returns September 26 through the 28 and is hosted by the Cory Volunteer Fire Department.
Festival-goers can enjoy traditional events like the Fireman’s Breakfast, Jonah Fish Fry, and Chicken Noodle Dinner all served at the firehouse. There will also be multiple car shows, bingo, live music, vendors, a parade, and more.
All proceeds help support the Cory Fire Department and the Community Center.
“It’s what gives us the money to put towards new uniforms, new radios, you know anything that anybody might need that they need replaced or if we have new members. It also helps us keep up with like I said the community center. It helps us be able to host things and just keep people coming back,” Parade Coordinator Hannah Snyder said.
