TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— The Terre Haute Police Department is currently on scene in the 700 block of Lafayette Avenue after reports of shots being fired.
According to Lt. Justin Sears, officers were dispatched to the area after reports of a man firing a weapon at a vehicle. Sears stated that officers and investigators are actively investigating the area.
Authorities said no injuries have been reported and that early information indicates it is an isolated incident.
The investigation is currently in the early stages and WTWO will update the story as more information becomes available.
