DAVIESS COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A new judge has been appointed in Daviess County.
On Wednesday, Indiana’s governor announced Dan Murrie is being appointed to the Daviess County Superior Court.
Murrie is replacing Judge Dean Sobecki, who retired on December 31. Murrie has served as the Daviess County prosecutor, since 2010, and prior to that, he was the chief deputy prosecutor.
Murrie’s swearing-in date is still to be determined.
