LONDON, June 4 (Reuters) – The chief executive of ITV said that the British broadcaster was still “very much actively engaged” in a deal to sell its media and entertainment division to Comcast’s Sky.
“We are very much actively engaged in discussions,” CEO Carolyn McCall told the Enders TMT Leaders Live conference on Thursday.
She said she could not say more about the possible deal, first announced in November and which would value the business at £1.6 billion ($2.15 billion), because ITV is a listed company.
