ISP officials remind drivers not to drive distracted as Indiana lowers minimum age for driver’s license

Indiana Governor Mike Braun has announced that starting June 1, people will be able to get their driver’s license the day they turn 16, and the Indiana State Police are encouraging safe driving for all drivers by setting a good example, using caution, and avoiding distracted driving.
