AMSTERDAM, Aug 24 (Reuters) – Multiple people were injured in a coach crash in the east of the Netherlands early on Monday, Dutch police said.
The coach was carrying around 50 people including a large number of school children, a police spokesman said, when it crashed near the town of Wezep, some 100 km (62 miles) east of Amsterdam around 4.00 a.m. (0200 GMT) due to a collision with a minivan.
The exact number of people injured in the accident , was unknown, but no deaths were reported.
Police could not specify the nationality of the passengers.
The A28 highway was closed in both directions following the accident.
