TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The man nominated to serve as Indiana State University’s next president could be approved Friday.
The ISU Board of Trustees will meet Friday morning. The board’s agenda includes the consideration and approval of the employment agreement for Dr. Mike Godard.
As Godard was named the nominee for the position earlier this month, he is also expected to make remarks at the meeting.
Godard received his doctorate degree from Ball State and worked for several years at the University of Central Missouri. Godard has also served many roles including Interim Provost – Chief Learning Officer. Most recently he served as provost at Southeast Missouri State University
The selection of ISU’s 13th President comes as the current president, Dr. Deborah Curtis, is retiring.
